mind slip-up

Visited my family and somehow didn't think of weighing myself (!!!!!!)

I don't know what came over me.

Strange slip of the mind indeed.

Secondly, I didn't even talk to Mark. I saw him from afar, but was never even in the same room with him.

So, 2 things:

1) Today contained no awkward greeting

2) It (the greeting) is only postponed

Now, thirdly, have you ever noticed how much the innards of a pumpkin resemble those of a canteloupe?

These were my thoughts as I scooped one out this evening.
