7:30 am.

an unexpected awakening.

by my father.

he wanted me to go to work.

I did.

Denise didn't go.

That was a disappointment.

"sunstroke"

I'm suspicious that drinking has more to do with the cause of her headache and throwing up, especially following the long weekend, but hey... benefit of the doubt, right?

Dawn was okay. She was nice, I mean.

We got into a conversation about hair b/c I really like how her's is right now.

I asked her what Denise's is like.

She described it.

And went further to say that she's really skinny.

She also described to me a situation from last week (with a fair amount of detail)... A girl about 5'8", wearing high boots which made her appear nearly 6' came into the store. She was very thin... jutting hip bones, sunkin in face & dark make up causing her eyes to look sunkin in... arms that looked too long for her body and almost a complete lack of rear end.

Apparently Denise became depressed for 2-3 hours after the girl left and Dawn got it out of her that it was b/c of this girl and that seeing her made her hate herself and want to go home and burn her skirt b/c she was so fat. Later, the girl came back to buy, and Denise couldn't even look at her, it upset her so much.

I am so hurt that Denise is dealing with this. Dawn also told me about a time Denise found her mom crying b/c she had weighed herself & found that she had gained 4lbs. No wonder she's having issues.

From what I vaguely recall hearing in years past, Aunt Claire was once chubby... now she is not & attends weight watchers w/ Denise. They are both plenty thin enough.

I have yet to see Denise (since Christmas break)

This talk was quite triggering to me & I was very tempted not to eat my lunch, but I did it anyway. (yay me) *rolls eyes*

According to Dawn, Denise doesn't stop talking about her weight & how fat she is. This should not be good for me, to work with her :/

After work, my mom & sister came home from shopping all day. They bought a skirt & 2 shirts for me! The skirt was one that I had seen and loved at Jacob but didn't buy it b/c I couldn't find a matching top w/ sleeves (they found one). I have yet to try these things on, so I'm crossing my fingers that they'll fit right.

Hilary & I met Robin & Sarah at the movies tonight, to see the new Xmen movie. It was pretty good. That girl with claw-nails was quite freaky (well, watching her fight w/ Wolverine freaked me out). That shapeshifter girl is awesome.

I cried today. It's been a very long time since I last cried.

Last night I was looking at some negatives, in the light (holding them above my face, about a foot above...) and I was also holding a pen... which slipped out of my hand and bounced off of my OPEN eye. It shocked me. I have some broken blood vessels and a little pain, but it's nothing really.

Today, at work, I ran (literally, I was running for the phone) into the corner of a piece of furniture (I don't even know what b/c I didn't look back) and now I have a very large, very blue bruise on my leg. Welcome back to furniture-land, self.
